We are animal lovers!

It all started when…

I was not in a happy place in my mind. But there was Coco who stared me with her pretty eyes wondering what mattered with me. She was so sweet back then (now she’s little crazy but still sweet) wanting me to be happy again.

One day, I looked at her while I was sitting on the couch with her after a long day at work(I was not a groomer then). She got groomed only a few days before but I didn’t quite like how she looked, wondering how I could make her prettier.

Then, it hit me in my head I should be a groomer who could make not only my baby girl but also other pups in town prettier.

I attended Animal Arts Academy to become a professional pet stylist in 2015. Everyone said to how exciting and fun it could be to play with pups all day. Well, I was misguided by their thoughts and my wishful thinking and it was very physical and hard labor that I have never dreamt. After a while, my body started getting used to all the bending, kneeling and lifting.

I really enjoyed making pups look the best I could. I have to admit it surely is a challenging job to work with voiceless animals that are scared and afraid but once they get to know me, starting to open their little heart to me, it is the most rewarding experience one can hope for.

I am still learning in daily basis to understand their behavior and styling trends. I have attended a number of seminars and training throughout the year and am planning on participating in more education to become a better stylist.

Before I became a pet stylist, there were several concerns whenever I dropped off my girl Coco at the grooming salon such as ‘how long does she have to stay?, is she going to stay in the cage in the whole time? is anybody there to take her out to potty break?’ etc. In my salon, they are cage free, unless they want to be in one. We work with your schedule and arrange your pick up time that will give you a peace of mind. Also they will have a nice walk to the grassy area to sniff and mark with one of our staff. So no worries!

I hope to see your furbies at my new salon soon and get to know you and yours.

If you are nearby, just stop in and check us out! Looking forward to meeting you all.
